To mark its 21st anniversary, AOD has teamed up with the Woodland Trust to dedicate 21 trees, at Home Farm in Burkham, north-east Hampshire.
AOD was founded by Lynn Markiewicz and Professor Michael West in 2003 to promote the evidence behind team-based working.
Now part of the Skills for Care group, AOD continues to use the best available research evidence to shape its work in team effectiveness and compassionate leadership.
“What’s extraordinary from the research is how powerful spending time in nature is for our health and well-being”, says Sarah-Jane Dale, who has led AOD since 2018. “Our team felt that supporting the Trust’s vital work was the perfect way to celebrate our milestone.”
